How far is it between resorts? Between Coronado Springs and Poly? How big are the parks? Is there a map showing scale of Disney property?

Hello Cindy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where we love to help Guests plan extra magical visits to Walt Disney World Resort
Quite often the very 1st piece of advice I offer when I'm asked about visiting Walt Disney World Resort is to say 'Be sure to wear the most comfortable footwear possible' and I say this because after using a pedometer I know that Guests like you & I can possibly walk up to 10 miles during a busy Disney day!
It's super easy to view maps and get a better perspective of size via this great interactive Explore Walt Disney World Resort link.
For me one of the most fun things to do whilst enjoying a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort is to explore some of the 20+ Resort hotels on Disney property.  Not only the beautiful Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, but each single hotel is intricately themed and with just a little use of imagination and perhaps a sprinkle of pixie dust can totally immerse the Guest into another place or time.
Utilising the wonderful Resort Transportation system is a super smart idea and generally as a rule of thumb I always allow for up to 1 hour to travel between Disney destinations and perhaps even longer during peak seasons; after all it's a vacation and no one wants to be clock watching or stressing!
    Have a great Disney day.
