    How far or long is the walk from the International Gateway in Epcot to the Monorail? We will be staying at the Boardwalk Inn and thought that might be a better choice then taking the Bus to Magic Kingdom. What do you think?

    Welcome to the Moms Panel Robert!  We're excited that you are hEAR!

    The International Gateway entrance at Epcot is located in the World Showcase between the France and United Kingdom pavilions.  Its a bit of a hike from there to the front entrance of Epcot.  Once the monorail arrives at the station, its about a 10 minute ride to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC).  From TTC you will need to take the Express Monorail (no stops), Resort Monorail (will stop at the Polynesian & Grand Floridian before Magic Kingdom) or the Ferry Boat to get to the front entrance of the Magic Kingdom.

    Taking a bus directly from BoardWalk Inn to the Magic Kingdom is much quicker.  The bus will put you out right at the entrance so no transfers are involved.

    If you go through the International Gateway, you'll need a park ticket to enter.  If you decide to do this, you'll need to have the Park Hopper option on your tickets so that you can get in the Magic Kingdom as well.
