    Hi -- How far is the Grand Floridian from Disney's Boardwalk area? Is it easy to go by boat? Thanks!

    Hi Megan,

    Welcome to the Moms Panel!!  I would say that the Grand Floridian Resort is about 20-25 minutes from Disney's Boardwalk area if you are driving a personal vehicle.  Unfortunately, you cannot take a boat to this area.  If you are relying on Disney's transportation, then you should take the Monorail or boat to the Magic Kingdom.  You can then take a bus from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Boardwalk Resort.
