    How far is the French Quarter to riverside

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cynthia!

    Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter are two of the best Disney Resort hotels on property, in my honest opinion! I simply love the calm atmosphere, beautiful grounds and the fact that as these are sister Disney Resort hotels, Guests can enjoy the amenities of both Disney Resort hotels (including the pool), which is quite unique! The walking distance between these two Disney Resort hotels is about 0.5 miles or 10 minutes, depending how fast you plan on walking. There is a walking path so it is a nice, beautiful walk from one to the other. If you plan on driving, it is probably about 2 minutes from point A to point B. Both of these Disney Resort hotels offer Ferry Boat transportation, so if you feel like taking a relaxing boat ride from one to the other, this is also an option. The boats also run all the way to Disney Springs, which is another reason I love these Disney Resort hotels so much!

    Enjoy and make sure to say hi to YeHaa Bob Jackson at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside for me! Oh- and have a beignet at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter too, you won’t be sorry! Besides, calories don’t count at Walt Disney World Resort!
