Hi Bonnie. Welcome to planDisney! We are always happy to help.
My absolute favorite part of planning my vacations to the
Walt Disney World Resort is making
advanced dining reservations. There are just so many wonderful options and there is always something new to discover. On my last trip, I was able to experience
Roundup Rodeo BBQ in
Toy Story Land at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. You really feel like you've been shrunken down to the size of a toy in Andy's backyard, eating some delicious food! On the trip before, I was able to dine at
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The atmosphere in this restaurant is so immersive that it'll seem like you are dining in an enchanted forest with Snow White and her friends. And the food is outstanding!
Advanced dining reservations can be made 60 days before the date you are going to dine at 6 a.m. EST. I always recommend that Guests be ready to start making these reservations at 5:45 a.m. as some may go live a little before 6 a.m. and some may go live a little after. If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you will be able to make advanced dining reservations for your entire vacation (up to 10 days) 60 days before your arrival date. This means that you get access to some reservation times before other Guests. Because of this, I recommend that you try to make dining reservations at some of the most popular restaurants later on in your stay as fewer people will have had access to those reservations!
Bonnie, no matter where you decide to eat, you are bound to have some unforgettable culinary experiences. This is especially true for restaurants like
California Grill on the top floor of
Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Be Our Guest Restaurant in
Magic Kingdom Park. And speaking of Magic Kingdom Park, if you are a rollercoaster fan, you'll definitely want to check out the brand-new attraction
TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise. There's nothing like it and it's a truly exhilarating experience. Be sure to check out the
planDisney Official Guide to Navigating the Grid at TRON Lightcycle / Run!
