how far are the courtyard view rooms in the wilderness lodge resort from the lobby and the buses ? I have a 3 yr old and i d like to be close , not to walk alot on the resort grounds. Any help?? thanks :)

Hi there Nancy.  If you haven't been before, I think you are going to love staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.   The theming of a National Parks Lodge is outstanding.  Just walking into the lobby will take your breath away!

If you have booked or are planning to book a Courtyard Yard View room, let me try to help with the best possible location request for you.   As you face the front of the Resort from the entrance,  the buses board outside and to the right hand side.  If you walk straight through the entrance, you will be in the lobby.   Although requests can be made, they are never guaranteed.  Mostly the Courtyard View rooms face the pool area.  Disney does try as best they can to honor your request, however.  When you speak with Central Reservations, (407) WDW-STAY, definitely make a request for your room to be close to the lobby and bus transportation.  You can also take a boat to Magic Kingdom Park, so you may want to request being closer to the boat dock.   Bus transportation will take you to the other theme parks.

I wish you a MAGICAL vacation!
