How far out can I book room only?

We here at planDisney love an early planner. So we welcome you with open arms Alicia! Getting all your Donald Ducks in a row is super important to us, and I can help you find the best time to book a stay.

Current bookings are only available through 2023, but in the near future, you should be able to book for 2024. You can only ever book for the next year but only after the vacation packages have been officially announced. Traditionally the next year's bookings become available in late spring of the year before. There are a couple of places to keep track of the latest news. The first I would check out is the Disney Parks Blog, it always has the latest news and happenings around the parks. The Vacation Planning Page is something most of us are familiar with. I know I'm on there making up vacations I would love to take and make sure we can't squeeze it into the budget. You can always follow us, @plandisneypanel on Instagram where you will see some news and a lot of planning information including links to the very handy planDisney Extras page that is full of expert advice from panelists who are guests just like you. My favorite is the Pocket guides about halfway down the planDisney Extras page.

When thinking about your trip for this far into the future I always think of the time of year, and which parks will be a priority for this visit. If it is your 1st time or 50th, the planDisney Podcast is a great place to hear our panelists talk about what they love like the personal Disney experiences that last a lifetime. We talk about galaxies far far away, classic haunted attractions, first-time guests, and tips for using your technology when planning and enjoying your vacation.

I hope this information helps keep you updated with the changes around the parks as well as making those plans for 2024. Stop back anytime with any other planning needs. We will always be willing to offer tips and advice to those who ask. It is what we love to do.

    Have a magical day,

    Jeremy A.
