    How far out can we book the princess/Royal gathering on our cruise I keep finding different answers. Thanks :)

    Hello there, Maria!

    My family recently met with a number of our favorite Princesses at the Royal Gathering, and it was such a special opportunity to speak with and take photos with our favorite characters. This Character Experience is fun for the young and old. 

    I’m happy to share that you can start making complimentary reservations for the Royal Gathering Character Experience 30 days prior to your sailing. If this is a priority for your family, I recommend logging on 30 days before you set sail at midnight EST to have the best chance of making this reservation. This is also the same time that Online Check-In becomes available. 

    Once you log into the Disney Cruise Line mobile app, select “My Plans” and “Cruise Activities.” From there, you can select “Book Now” and “Add Activities” for the day you’d like to participate in the Royal Gathering.

    Before your 30-day window begins, I recommend viewing the Royal Gathering under “Onboard Fun” to see when you can start reserving this activity. It’s helpful to see when it may be available so you can select it as soon as it opens up. This experience is very popular and books up quickly. 

    We were amazed that some of the Royal Gatherings had different Princesses appear. It was so fun asking them questions and hearing about their everyday life aboard the ship and at home in their respective Kingdoms.
