How far can we book for March 2027? We are looking for resort/tickets/dining

Welcome to planDisney, Kimberly! It sounds like we have a lot in common because I'm always thinking ahead about my upcoming Disney vacations. With that in mind, I'm happy to let you know what to expect when it comes to booking your 2027 trip!

Based on recent patterns, vacation packages and room-only reservations for a new year typically open in late spring of the year before. So for March 2027, you'll likely be able to start booking sometime in late spring 2026, probably mid to late May or early June. This is a pattern, not a promise, so think of it as a strong guess rather than a locked-in date. The best way to know the exact day things go live is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, since that's where Disney typically announces that next year's bookings are open.

When that window does open, you'll be able to book your resort and tickets together as a vacation package, or a room-only reservation and add tickets later. Either way is fine, but a package is nice if you like having everything bundled and held with a small deposit.

For dining, the rule stays the same regardless of the year: once your vacation is booked, you can make dining reservations 60 days before your check-in date. If you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can book for your entire stay (up to 10 days) starting at that 60-day mark, which is super helpful for those hard-to-get restaurants later in your trip.

So the game plan is: watch for that late-spring 2026 announcement, grab your resort and tickets as soon as your dates open, and then mark your calendar for 60 days before check-in to go on your big dining-reservations spree. You're going to be so ready when the time comes, and March is a lovely time to be there!

I hope this answers your question, Kimberly, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
