Hey there, Elizabeth! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I am so glad that you are already thinking about making
advanced dining reservations for your Walt Disney World vacation early next year. Some of the best places fill up quickly so it is always great to have a plan in mind! As of right now, Guests are able to make advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to their vacation. You can make reservations online starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time. You can also wait until 7:00 a.m. and call 407-WDW-DINE to make dining reservations and a Cast Member will be able to assist you with that. I do recommend setting your alarm early and trying to be up for that 6:00 a.m. time online because like I said before, some of the best spots do fill up pretty quickly. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you are able to make your dining reservations for the length of your stay up to 10 days so you'll want to have it all planned out beforehand. Keep in mind that if you are dining in the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, in addition to your dining reservation, you will also need a park pass reservation to enter the theme park or park hopper tickets and a reservation after 2:00 p.m.
If you are looking for some dining recommendations, I have a few you might want to check out. Right now, my very favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World is
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. The restaurant is set right on the lake and offers beautiful views of the sun setting over Disney Springs. There is something on the menu for everyone but my current go-to order is the lobster roll served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. Yum! If there is room for dessert, I love their key lime pie in a jar. It's light and flavorful, all the things you want in an incredible dessert. Another place that I love dining at right now is
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort. Breakfast is a character meal with Mickey and the gang and is a lot of fun. The menu offerings are absolutely delicious and even though you order an entree off of the menu, it is considered all-you-care-to-enjoy. So I always order the breakfast quiche which honestly is 10/10 but I have to get a side of Mickey waffles too. You can never go wrong with Mickey waffles and at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera I don't have to choose. Another fan favorite that just opened back up for dining reservations is
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This meal is all-you-care-to-enjoy served up right to your table. The menu has changed a little bit since it reopened but fan favorites like the potstickers and the chicken wings remain on the menu. Those alone are worth the reservation. If you get a dining reservation close to the firework time at Magic Kingdom Park you can actually see them from your table. It's a perfect way to end a Disney day!
Elizabeth, I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help. Have a great day and enjoy!
