How far is The Boma restaurant from Animal Kingdom park? I'm trying to decide if we should eat breakfast there or the Rain Forrest restaurant for breakfast on our Animal Kingdom day. Any suggestions? We want to make sure we do the Safari first, maybe.

    Hi Kathie,

I'm a huge fan of Boma! That being said, it is located inside the Animal Kingdom Lodge and not at the park. It can take a bit of time to travel between the two if you are using Disney transportation. If you are using your own car, it is only about 10 minutes away. However, I have a better plan for you! I highly recommend starting off your Animal Kingdom day at Donald's Safari Breakfast which is located inside the Tusker House right near the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. This character breakfast features Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Goofy all decked out in their safari gear. The food is absolutely delicious and while some of it has an African flair, you can still find the staples such as scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, Mickey waffles, fruit, yogurt and pastries. Be sure to try the "Jungle Juice". This restaurant is considered a "must do" for my family on our Disney vacations. I recommend trying to book a 8:00 a.m. reservation to get in before park opening. Then head straight over to the Kilimanjaro Safari once it opens at 9:00 a.m.

Please let me know if I can assist you further and have a wonderful vacation,
