How far away is the Cars building from the main pool at Art of Animation?

    Ka-Chow, Deborah!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! There’s nothing quite like the excitement of stepping into a place where every detail feels MAGICAL, from the music in the air to the pixie dust on every path. Whether you’re staying at a resort, exploring the parks, or diving into those Disney-themed pools, you’re in for an unforgettable adventure.

Vroom, vroom! Get ready to cruise down the road to some poolside MAGIC! If you are staying in the Cars section at Art of Animation, you’re in luck because you’re actually really close to all the action. The Cars buildings are just a quick three to five-minute walk to the resort’s main pool, the Big Blue Pool, which is the largest pool on Disney property. It’s a short, scenic stroll through Radiator Springs and past all the fun Cars theming, so even the walk feels like part of the adventure.

Because the Cars section is located right behind Animation Hall and the Big Blue Pool area, you’re much closer than guests in the Little Mermaid section, who can be up to a 10-minute walk away. The Cars location is super convenient and close enough to grab a refill at the food court, take a dip in the main pool, or hop on the Skyliner without breaking a sweat.

And here’s the best part — the Cars section has its own pool, too! The Cozy Cone Pool sits right in the middle of the Cars buildings and is themed perfectly after the Cars movies, complete with giant orange “cone cabanas” for relaxing in the shade. So you can splash around right outside your room, or take that short walk over to the Big Blue Pool when you’re ready for a bigger splash.

As you continue to plan, be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information regarding all things Disney. Mickey and his pals have some incredible surprises coming up, and we don't want you to miss any of the FUN!

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
