    Hi, As far as the April 1, 2021 reopening when will tickets be available to purchase?

    Hi Don, thanks for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your question for us.

    I cannot believe it’s been almost one whole year since Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels temporarily closed due to the pandemic. I really miss Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park-- I cannot wait to stroll down Main Street U.S.A. or zoom by on Radiator Springs Racers again.

    While there were recent news that large California theme parks can reopen on April 1st, 2021, however Disneyland Resort has not announced theme park reopening plans yet. Based on a recent statement, Disneyland Resort theme parks are working diligently to reopen sooner than initially expected, possibly in late April. That is such amazing news! So many people are eagerly waiting for Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels to safely reopen, myself included. And I’m guessing you’re also more than ready to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park as well!
     
    I suggest periodically checking out the Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland.com for all the latest details and park news. Don, seeing how rapidly tickets sold out for the new upcoming limited-time experience, A Touch of Disney, (I waited about six hours in the virtual queue to score tickets for my family!), I have a strong feeling theme park tickets will sell quickly once a reopening date is announced!
