how far ahead can i book a park reservation

Hi there Jeanette, welcome back to planDisney!

I see you have a question about theme park reservations so let’s take a look. As of January 9, 2024, theme park reservations are no longer required for tickets that are date-based. If you have a different admission type, theme park reservations may be required. For those tickets that do require reservations, the reservation calendar is currently open for all of 2025.

For Annual Passholders, a theme park reservation may be needed in order to enter a park. The number of theme park reservations that can be held at a time are as follows (on a rolling basis):

    • Disney Incredi-Pass: up to 5
    • Disney Sorcerer Pass: up to 5
    • Disney Pirate Pass: up to 4
    • Disney Pixie Dust Pass: up to 3

There are good-to-go days on certain days which mean that Passholders can head to a theme park without needing to have a reservation beforehand. These good-to-go days can be found on the :

It looks like you’ll be heading to Walt Disney World Resort in just a few months and will be just in time to enjoy the Fall decorations at the theme parks and resorts. I’m so excited to check out Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (opening later this summer), I hope you have the chance to experience the enchanting musical adventure at Magic Kingdom Park inspired by the film The Princess and the Frog.

I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning, Jeanette. Please visit us again at planDisney if you have any other planning questions!

    See ya real soon,
    Candace
