Hiya, Soon How!
Welcome to planDisney! A winter adventure in The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like a dream come true. The
holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort is a truly special time of year to visit. There are so many experiences and festivities to get you into the holiday spirit. Merry Menageries, Candlelight Processionals, and even a Santa Claus Motorcade will help you create a lifetime of memories for you and your Ohana. And don't forget to reserve your spot for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, scheduled to return to the magic this year!
Guests booking a room or suite at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotel can make room-only reservations up to 499 days in advance and can secure a
Walt Disney World vacation package through early November of 2023.
Magic Kingdom Park area resorts are incredibly popular due to their convenient proximity and castle views. This can be especially true during the holiday season when Guest attendance increases. But Hakuna Matata, friend! There are so many incredible places to call your home away from home during your stay. There is sure to be a Disney Resort hotel that is the perfect fit for your travel party. Each resort offers immersive theming, amazing pools, and an abundance of Disney Magic. And while the Magic Kingdom area may not have any openings, there are resort hotels that are within walking distance of both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you will be visiting these parks during your time in Walt Disney World Resort, I recommend looking at
Disney's Beach Club, Resort,
Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and
Disney's BoardWalk Inn. These resorts also offer complimentary transportation to Magic Kindom Park. Convenient transportation is just one of the many
exclusive benefits available to Disney Resort hotel Guests. You will also enjoy extended time in the parks, early Individual Lighting Lane reservation options, and the ability to book your dining 60 days in advance for a full ten days. This can help secure those harder-to-get reservations like Chef Mickey's.
I want to mention that you can switch your reservation or package to a Magic Kingdom area resort should one come available, even after you have booked at another Disney hotel! Just be sure to keep checking the website for openings. Travel plans change often, and you never know what you might find! You can easily modify your existing reservation through the
My Disney Experience on the Walt Disney World website. Choose the
My Plans option, and select the
Change Reservation link to switch resorts in a matter of moments.
I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
