Lightning Lane Passes.
With Lightning Lane Passes, guests can skip the traditional standby queue at many attractions across the resort. My family loves to utilize Lightning Lane passes because they give us the opportunity to spend the time we would have spent in standby queues doing other fun things we love, like shopping for new merchandise or trying new or favorite snacks. If you’ve never had the
Cheeseburger Spring Rolls inside Magic Kingdom at the Adventureland Spring Roll Cart, they will change your life.
Christina, as a Disney resort hotel guest, you have access to purchase Lightning Lane passes as early as 7 days prior to your arrival date. If you’re not staying at a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection, you may purchase your Lightning Lane passes as early as 3 days prior to your first park day on date-based tickets.
When you purchase your Lightning Lane passes, you’ll be able to preselect up to three attractions - one from the list of tier 1 selections and 2 from tier 2 (or all three from tier 2 if preferred). You can do this as early as 7 a.m. Eastern on your Lightning Lane day, so I’d suggest setting an alarm or a reminder so you don’t forget!
If your party doesn’t have them already, consider purchasing
MagicBand+. Not only will these cool accessories allow you to make purchases throughout the resort, they allow you to enter the parks, unlock your resort room door, interact with so many cool features throughout the parks and Disney Springs and provide easy access to Lightning Lanes. You’ll breeze through the lanes by tapping your MagicBand+ at the Lightning Lane entrance. You can purchase MagicBand+ at any merchandise location on Disney property or online before you arrive on the
Disney Store website. There are so many to choose from - select a style that shows off your personality.
