How far in advance are tickets to the park become available? I would like a trip around April 2027 and would like to know when tickets and specials become available.

    Welcome, Jason!

We are so happy to have you here at planDisney!  As a planner at heart, I love to hear that you are thinking ahead. Planning this far in advance, I can already tell that you love to fill your Disneyland Resort vacations with as many pixie-dusted details as possible. First things first, though, we've got to find a way to the magic for you. Let's take a look!

If you are interested in booking a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package that includes both hotel accommodation and theme park tickets, typically, those packages open up towards the end of the summer of the year prior. For 2027 packages, I would check back starting in August of 2026 to see if and when they may be available. A good way to stay on top of all the latest news is to follow the Disneyland Instagram account and check in on the Disney Parks Blog periodically. What I love about the vacation packages is that you can build one to fit your priorities and budget, as it includes options for the Good Neighbor Hotels—hotels that are off property but have Mickey's stamp of approval!

If you are looking to only book theme park tickets, they typically become available around 180 days before your park day. Currently, you can book a ticket and make a theme park reservation for dates through mid-March 2026. For an April 2027 trip, I would start to look at theme park tickets in October of 2026.

Special promotions do become available on occasion. While we don't know when these will drop, I always recommend taking a look at the "View Offers and Discounts" section of the website. You can find this by hovering over the "Places to Stay" tab along the top navigation bar and tapping on it from the drop-down menu. Promotions are also often announced on the blog and Instagram, so it's always good to have your finger on the pulse of the latest news!

Jason, I sure hope this has been helpful! If you have any other questions, we here at planDisney love to chat all things Disneyland, anytime!

    Magic awaits!
    Tara
