Shelley, thank you for pointing your compass to planDisney. We are happy to help you prepare for your Disney Cruise!
I can’t wait for you to head over the bridge and see your first glimpse of the ship. I have a smile on my face just thinking about it. When you check in online for your cruise, you will select a
Port Arrival Time. This is the designated time you should arrive at the terminal. The cruise terminal opens at 11:00 AM in Port Canaveral. Cast Members will look over your Port Arrival Form before you’re allowed to enter security and complete the check-in process.
If you are
driving to the port, the parking garage opens at 10:30 A.M. There are designated disability parking areas available with a valid disabled parking permit. Once in the terminal, all that's left is waiting for your boarding group number to be called.
I’m not sure if you are aware, but many services are available for
Guests with Disabilities. I suggest completing the
Special Services form to let Disney Cruise Line know you are traveling with a mobility device. Due to safety regulations, scooters must be stored inside staterooms or parked in a designated parking area when not in use. Guest Services will be able to assist you with the parking areas on your ship.
Shelley, you will be well cared for on your voyage. Please return to planDisney if you ever have more questions. We are always happy to help.
SEAS the adventure,
Tracie
