Sonja, thank you for dropping by planDisney with your question.
Planning a
Walt Disney World Vacation is a special time of year. I always recommend making your reservations as soon as the dates that you are interested in open up. My family usually books our vacations around 6 months before our arrival date. This gives us enough time to make sure we are not booking ahead of our children's schedules. This also gives us plenty of time to budget. I always recommend starting at the
Vacation Planning Page and you can check out the new happenings sometimes there are special offers too hard to pass up. If the reservations you are speaking of are for Advanced Dining Reservations you can start as early as 60 days ahead of your arrival date. Some restaurants are very popular so be sure to set your reminder.
I have a couple of recommendations for those reservations you might be thinking about making. One of the best combinations of accommodations and convenience is
Disney's BoardWalk Inn. This waterfront resort is inspired by the turn-of-the-century Atlantic City. Besides being a beautiful resort it is also within walking distance of both
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
EPCOT. While you visit Hollywood Studios you should consider a meal at the
50's Primetime Cafe. This restaurant feels just like home, the comfort food, the kitchen table, and your cousin Becky as a server. That's right, you will have a family member as your server, and make sure you clean your plate or they might report back to Mom. Just mind your manners while dining here, or you will get called out. Just some tips on how to survive this fun playful experience.
I hope this helps you get your planning started. If you need assistance by phone a cast member will be sure to help. Visit us again anytime at planDisney.com.
See ya real soon,
Jeremy A.
