How far in advance can I make a room only resort reservation?

Hiya, Melinda! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks a bunch for stopping by with your question!

At this time, you're only able to book a Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation through the end of 2023. In previous years, Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Packages and room-only reservations for the following year have been released around late May or early June, so I would expect you to be able to book your 2024 vacation very, very soon!

Melinda, even though it's still a bit early for you to make your reservations, I actually suggest browsing through the website to see which hotels and Enchanting Extras Collection add-ons fit your budget and travel style. For example, I already know that my go-to hotels for when I travel with my dad are Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, but Disney's All-Star Music Resort is my favorite when traveling with my friends. It all depends on your personal preferences!

In the meantime, I suggest checking back on the Disney Parks Blog for more news about 2024 Vacation Packages and room-only reservations. They'll be the very first ones to share updates when the time comes! If you have any other questions for us, please don't hesitate to come right back so we may assist you further. Have a magical day!

    Warm hugs,
