how far in advance can you make room only reservations

Roslyn, hello and welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by to chit-chat about planning a Walt Disney World vacation.

You can actually make a hotel-only reservation 499 in advance, Roslyn. You are able to do this over the phone by calling (407) 939-1936. Phone lines open up around 7:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time each day. I suggest calling as early as possible to avoid long on-hold times as the phone lines have been getting backed up lately. If at a later date, you'd like to upgrade your room-only reservation to include a vacation package you are able to do so once they are released.

There is a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel to fit every budget, Roslyn, and all of them are so uniquely themed. If you are on the fence about where to stay, here are some of my favorites.

    Value Resort
    • Disney's Pop Century - I love how light and bright the rooms are and the food court is really great!
    Moderate Resort

    Deluxe Resort
    • Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - the location of this resort is everything. I love getting glimpses of Cinderella Castle from the walk to my room. There are several dining options that I really enjoy and the pool is great.
I've stayed at almost every Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and one thing I appreciate is the level of service - no matter which resort you choose.

I hope this helps, Roslyn. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help. Have fun and enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
