When it comes to selecting MagicBands, guests can purchase them at special pre-arrival rates up to
10 days in advance of their stay in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
Here’s the step-by-step guide! Once you hover over the “My Disney Experience” tab (upper right corner of the
homepage), select “My MagicBands and Cards”. Once fully signed in, you should see all of your party’s names for the upcoming stay. By selecting “Get Started”, you’ll be able to select
MagicBand+ for each guest. If one of the guests doesn't want a MagicBand, simply select “Decline a New MagicBand”. Keep in mind if you make this selection, the guest will no longer be able to get one at the pre-arrival price.
Typically, inactive MagicBands are from prior trips, but guests can definitely use them! To do this, simply go back to the main “My MagicBands and Cards” tab and scroll down to “Manage MagicBands and Cards”. From there, select the guest's name that has the inactive MagicBand and simply re-activate it by linking the MagicBand! If for some reason, you aren’t able to reactivate the current MagicBand you have, definitely reach out to the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ help desk.
