How far in advance can I make my reservations if I have the Inspire magic key? They whole point of buying this was to attend with my family during holidays and now there is nothing past November.Only blackout days were last 2 weeks of December

Hi a! Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your Magic Key question.

Congratulations on becoming an Inspire Magic Key holder! I became a Magic Key holder myself this year and I love having more access to the magic, discounts, perks, and exclusives. Be sure to follow the Disneyland Magic Key blog for all the official updates about what you can experience thanks to your Magic Key! It's how I learned about a complimentary exclusive during my latest trip, which made for a really fun souvenir.

It's great that you checked the blockout calendar before purchasing your Magic Key, so you knew what dates you could experience the festive Holidays at Disneyland Resort. It's my favorite time in the parks, so I understand wanting access with your family. On the blockout calendar, you'll see blockout dates with a slash through them. You are correct that for your Magic Key, the end of December is blocked out. However, you can visit prior to those dates, so long as park reservations are still available. The reason you are not yet able to select a reservation for dates in November or December is it's still too early: Magic Key holders can reserve their preferred date and park subject to availability 90 days out.

The Holidays bring lots of people to the parks, and it is possible for popular dates to sell out, so I'd set a reminder on my device and book right at the 90-day mark. In case your preferred park or date doesn't show availability, don't give up! People's plans change. Keep your eye on the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar for openings. They sometimes pop up right at the last minute. Hopefully, that won't be an issue.

As your visit approaches, follow the Disney Parks Blog for updates on the festive décor, treats, merchandise, and entertainment you can experience. It's the official source for everything new and fun coming to the parks.

    I hope this helps!
