Hi there, Tracie!
Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for the opportunity to share information about my favorite topic: the Disneyland Resort!
Guests with theme park reservations may cancel them at any time up until 11:59 PM Pacific Time the day before the reservation. This is the same whether a park reservation is associated with a
theme park ticket or a
Disneyland Resort Magic Key pass. Sometimes life happens and Guests may be unable to make it to a park reservation and didn’t get a chance to cancel the reservation by 11:59 PM the previous night. If that should be the case for a theme park ticket, a new reservation may be booked for that ticket after midnight of the date of the missed reservation. The new reservation may be made on any date for which the ticket is valid and for which
park reservations are still available. If it is a one-day ticket, be sure to check the
ticket tier levels.
Missed reservations tied to a Magic Key pass are subject to the
Magic Key Terms and Conditions and the current “no-show” policy. At this time, the
Magic Key no-show policy kicks in if a Passholder misses three reservations in a 90-day period. When that happens, the Passholder will not be able to book new park reservations until after a 30-day timeout period. I don’t know about you, but a month without the prospect of making a new reservation to The Happiest Place on Earth is too much for me to handle. So I make every effort to keep park reservations I make with my Magic Key pass or to at least scan into a park for a few minutes to enjoy visiting a “world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.”
While I hope you can make it to your originally planned visit to the Disneyland Resort, if you should need to reschedule, you may cancel an existing park reservation from the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page. Then, return to that page to book a new reservation on a new valid, and available date.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Tracie!
