    How far in advance can I purchase a photo pass cd? Our reservations are for the last week in July, 2014. Thanks! Love this site, your insight is so hopeful!

    Hi Janice!

         I just love using Disney's PhotoPass to get great pictures of my son and I in Walt Disney World! Purchasing the PhotoPass CD ahead of time is a good way to save some money. Yes, you can purchase the Photo CD in advance of your vacation because you get a Photo CD Voucher (a code that you can enter in to order the Photo CD when you get back home from your Walt Disney World vacation).  To my knowledge the Photo CD code or voucher does not expire so you could purchase it now for your July 2014 Walt Disney World vacation. The wonderful thing with PhotoPass is that you can have lots of pictures taken on your vacation at World Disney World and they will put all of them on a CD or multiple CDs for you. One time I received 2 CDs with over 1,000 pictures on them! I would encourage you to have your picture taken every time you see a PhotoPass Photographer and then when you get home you can create even more pictures by adding borders, Disney characters, and designs to the original photos.

    Here is how you get your PhotoPass pictures on to the PhotoPass CD:

    Within 30 days after you get home from your next Walt Disney World vacation, go online to www.disneyphotopass.com and register your PhotoPass card or cards. Then you can put borders, characters, and other special designs onto your photos. When you are finished viewing and editing your photos, you can put an order for a Photo CD in your cart. When you are checking out, place the pre-purchased Photo CD Code in the Promo Code box and the price of the Photo CD will be taken away because you have already purchased it. I have done this exact thing five times in the last few years and I have lots of great Walt Disney World photos to prove it!
