how far in advance can I purchase the memory maker? Is it like the tickets and is activated first time used? I am planning a 22 person family vacation for 2017

    Hi There Anne,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A family vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is guaranteed to create some very treasured and magical memories! You must be counting down the days!

Disney Memory Maker is a wonderful way to capture your entire family in your vacation photos. You can purchase Disney Memory Maker as far in advance as you would like. Once you have made your Resort Reservation you will have to link it to your account in My Disney Experience. Your Disney Memory Maker will be activated upon first use. All photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers are included, as well as Attraction Photos and Videos, Magic Shots, and Dining Photos. All photos that are scanned to your MagicBand, and the photos of those in your party who have enabled photo sharing with you, will be available for you to download. Please make sure that everyone in your party has enabled photo sharing within the "Family & Friends" list on My Disney Experience.

Please stop back by should you have any more vacation planning questions!

    Enjoy Your Magical Visit,
