Hi Adrianna,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Adrianna, it really depends on when you’ll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. If you’ll be visiting in the second half of the year, it may be okay to wait a little while to get
tickets. If you’ll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort before July, I suggest getting the tickets as soon as possible.
The biggest factor you need to navigate is the
Disney Park Pass. This is a reservation that has to be combined with each guest’s ticket for entry into the Theme Parks. Once you purchase your tickets, you can book these reservations online or in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. The earlier you book the Disney Park Passes, the more Theme Park options you have during your vacation.
Again, if you’re headed to the Walt Disney World Resort within the next few months for spring break, any holidays, or the beginning of summer vacation, I suggest you purchase as soon as possible so you can book your Disney Park Passes. If you want to view the current availability for the Theme Parks, just reference the
Theme Park Reservation calendar at any point during your planning! This will help you see all your options for a specific timeframe. If everything is green, that means there’s availability, but the days can turn yellow really quickly meaning a Theme Park or two might be booked up. I suggest taking a look to see what reservations are like as you begin your planning process!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you plan for your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.
