    How far in advance are the park calendars and specials posted. We are planning a trip for the first week of May next year. I have read the best way to predict is to look at the previous years specials but I only see summer promotions.

    Park Calendars and hours are usually posted about 6 months ahead of time. By early December of this year there will likely be information for May's hours and events posted on the Walt Disney World website.

    Indeed, current Special Offers on the WDW site only go through Summer 2012 at this point in time. Offers can change at any time and there's no real way to predict what the next Special Offer will be, what time period it will cover or who it will be available to.

    What I recommend is to book the Walt Disney World Resort hotel and Magic Your Way Vacation Package you're comfortable with in terms of price and date. That way, if a special offer doesn't become available for your travel dates, you'll still enjoy the great vacation you had planned and budgeted for. Then, keep an eye on the Walt Disney World website's Special Offers section - often! If a new offer comes out after you've booked, call (407) 939-7675 and mention that you have an existing reservation but would like to switch to the "such and such" offer. The Cast Member will advise you of availability under the offer and can even help you compare to determine what's best for you! The offer may vary by resort level in terms of which properties have availability, what % discount is available or what 'free' add-ons such as dining are being offered.
