How far in advance do you need to cancel your reservation?

Welcome to planDisney, Irma! It's so wonderful to have you here and I'll be happy to get you some answers so you can continue planning your visit to 'The Happiest Place on Earth!'

I'm sorry to hear that your plans may have changed, but one of the great things about Disneyland Resort admission is that there is typically a fair degree of flexibility when it comes to making, canceling, or modifying theme park reservations. If you have purchased a standard ticket, you can simply log-in to your MyDisney account and select "My Plans" or use the "Future Plans" tab in the Disneyland mobile app to cancel your theme park reservation by 11:59 PM on the night before your reservation. You will see the option to "Cancel Reservation" for any or all of the dates for which you currently hold a reservation for any ticket currently linked to your account. The process is the same for Magic Key Holders, but I also like to remind Guests about the no-show policy in case they have had previous no-shows or late cancellations.

Then, when you're ready to make new plans to visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks, you can simply follow the prompts to make a new theme park reservation on a future date for which your ticket or Magic Key pass is valid for entry! I hope this is helpful information and that you can secure your plans very soon to experience all the magic awaiting you at Disneyland Resort. If we can help with anything else in the meantime, I'd love to welcome you back to planDisney with any questions.

    Magically yours,
