    how far in advance are the magic bands mailed out prior to check in date

    I hope you're getting excited for your Walt Disney World vacation!

    You likely already know that you'll receive a MagicBand automatically if you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. If you personalize the MagicBand at least 11 days before your arrival at your Walt Disney World Resort, it will be shipped to you.

    The timing of the MagicBand shipment  — how far in advance you'll receive it — depends on when you place your order for the customized MagicBands. In my experience, I have typically received my personalized MagicBands with my selected colors and names within a week of when I submit the order. After you submit your order for your customized MagicBands, watch your email for an update with a subject like "Great News: Your MagicBand package has shipped!" You can also watch your My Disney Experience account for notifications on the status of your MagicBand shipment.
