Margo, I’m so excited to answer this one! One of my favorite parts of planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is having that magical trip on the calendar long before the packing and countdown officially begin. I love having something magical to look forward to!
So, I went ahead and looked directly on the official site, and right now,
Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservations are available to book through December 31, 2026. So if your travel dates fall within that window, you can go ahead and start booking now!
Disney sometimes opens reservations in date ranges rather than sticking to one fixed “book this many days ahead” rule, so what’s available can depend on how far out Disney has released inventory. If you were hoping for something beyond those dates, I say keep checking back. I bet they will continue opening more dates soon! I’d also keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, since you’ll get the latest news and announcements there first for all things Disney!
Pro-tip! Booking early can be a great move, not only because it gives you that pixie-dusted date on your calendar to look forward to, but also because if a special offer pops up later for your travel dates, you may be able to modify your reservation and apply that deal, subject to availability. And you have the peace of mind that your dates are locked in! So, even if you book now, I’d still peruse the
special offers page from time to time to make sure you have the best deal available!
