How far in advance can we make Fastpass selections for Disneyland? Can we make these selections online like in WDW? Also, does Disneyland use magic bands like in WDW?

    Greetings Lindsey,

I see you're planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth...exciting!
The FASTPASS Service at the Disneyland Resort is slightly different than the service currently offered at WDW.
Here at the Disneyland Resort, guests can make their FASTPASS selections when they arrive at the Disneyland or Disney California Adventure Parks by looking for the FASTPASS Distribution signs near the entrance of an attraction or show. When you get there, you will see the return time and if that time works for you, all you have to do is insert your valid Disneyland Resort admission ticket into the FASTPASS machine and in turn, you will receive a FASTPASS ticket printed with your return time. Once it's time to head to the attraction, you will skip the longer lines and enjoy the ride with minimal wait!
The Disney Parks blog announced a new service expected to make its debut later this year. It's called Disney MaxPass, which will allow guests to reserve a FASTPASS using the Disneyland Mobile App.
Again, the dates have not been announced for the launch of MaxPass but check back before your vacation and you may be one of the first to try it!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
    Have a Magical day!
