How far in advance are the extra magic hours published?

    Hi Kristen,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. The Extra Magic Hours normally are published along with the parks schedules about six months in advance.

You will find them noted on the daily schedules for each park. I see you are arriving Jan. 18. During that week, the schedule currently shows Extra Magic Hours:
    • At Magic Kingdom from 10 p.m. to midnight Sunday, Jan. 19 and 8 -9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23
    • At Epcot 8-9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21 and 9-11 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24
    • At Hollywood Studios 8-9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20
    • And at Animal Kingdom from 8-9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 20 and Wednesday, Jan. 22.
Those schedules are always subject to change, of course. When you arrive at your Walt Disney World resort, you will be given a list of the most up-to-date schedule information.

I hope that helps with your planning. My family especially enjoys late-night Extra Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Enjoy your visit, and please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
