How far in advance do the extended hours get posted for those who are staying on Disney property? Am looking at a trip in June 2013--want to stay at the Contemporary to visit Magic Kingdom and want to do so during the extra hour they are open in the am.

Extra Magic Hours are one of my favorite benefits to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. I find the morning EMH to be a great way to avoid crowds and pack in plenty of fun in just an hour.

Typically the calendar is released six months in advance. If you study the Magic Kingdom calendar you will see a pattern to EMH. Of course this in no way promises that a similar practice will still be in place a year from now.

Hope your wonderful plan of staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort and enjoying the oh-so-close Magic Kingdom's early EMH is a success.
