Just hearing “
Disney Dining” gets my appetite going for all my favorite dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for asking such a great question, Theresa!
There is a subtle, but important, difference between Guests staying on-property and those staying off-property. Guests staying on-property at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can
make their dining reservations 60 days before their vacation arrival date. Those Guests can make their reservations for up to 10 days of their vacation! Which, for many Guests, covers the length of their vacation. That is the nice perk of staying on-property! If you have your itinerary planned out, you could make all your Disney Dining reservations on your 60-day mark! The perk gives on-property Guests a nice advantage at scoring some of those high-demand Disney Dining experiences. I like to refer to it as a “+10 day advantage” over Guests staying off-property.
Guests staying off-property can also make their reservations 60 days in advance but can’t make them for the length of their vacation. They would need to make reservations 60 days in advance of each dining reservation over several days.
Theresa, be sure to make your reservations for the most popular Disney Dining experiences on your 60-day mark! You can begin making your reservations at 6:00 AM, but sometimes a reservation might be accepted a few minutes before 6:00 AM! I recommend logging into your My Disney Experience account at 5:45 AM in preparation for making your reservations. And, here is a PRO TIP for you…keep a credit card close by as some dining experiences require a credit card number to hold the reservation!
Dreams do come true!
