How far in advance can dining reservations be made

    Hey Howdy Hey, Janet!

Yeehaw! Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for moseying on over here with your excellent question.  Janet, talking about dining with Disney Guests is one of my favorite topics.  There is so much delicious grub to enjoy at Walt Disney World Resort, you sure will have plenty to enjoy - especially if you have a cowboy's appetite like me!

Janet, Advance Dining Reservations can be made beginning 60 days in advance from your date of check-in if you are staying on property at one of the uniquely themed Disney Resort Hotels or from 60 days out from the desired date of your reservation.  If you are a Guest of one of the Disney Resort Hotels, you can make Advance Dining Reservations for the entirety of your stay (up to a 10-night stay) beginning 60 days from your check-in date.  To take advantage of this exclusive benefit for Disney Resort Hotel Guests, be sure your Resort reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account and that you are logged in when you make the reservations. Otherwise, it will only allow you to make reservations 60 days out from the dining date.

An important tip, Janet, is that I recommend marking your calendar for 60 days out, as dining reservations fill up quickly. They will open beginning at 6:00 a.m. on that 60-day out mark.

One of my favorite places to dine when that dinner bell rings is the new Roundup Rodeo BBQ located in Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Not only will you be immersed in the unique theming of Andy's rodeo and enjoy all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style barbecue, but it is so delicious you'll want to round up your server for seconds. But be aware that once in a while, Andy comes in so you'll need to freeze like a toy.

I hope this helps you, Janet! If you have any further Disney planning questions, giddy-up on over here to see us and we'll be glad to help. Remember, you've got a friend in me, Janet!

    Happy Trails,
    Keri
