How far in advance can I make dining reservations? I’m staying at all star movies

    Hi Jacqueline,

It's great to see you planning Disney at planDisney again. Eating is one of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World Resort. Doing so while in outer space at Space 220 Restaurant, surrounded by beloved Disney characters at The Crystal Palace, or with Andy's toys at Roundup Rodeo BBQ really enhances the experience. Food just tastes better with Disney magic!

All Guests can make advance reservations for dining online or in the My Disney Experience mobile app up to 60 days in advance. Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel (that's you, Jacqueline!) can book for their entire length of stay, up to 10 days, 60 days before their check-in date. All other Guests may book as each day of their vacation reaches the 60-day mark. A new day of reservations opens at 6:00 a.m. EST and, in my experience, the early bird gets the greatest availability of reservation times.

Favorable changes to the process of booking advance reservations for dining are expected to roll out in the coming weeks, which is great news for your November trip. With the expected changes, you'll be able to see all available reservation slots for your desired restaurant and timeframe as opposed to just a few.

In terms of reservation prioritization, I recommend trying to book the most popular dining experiences first as opposed to booking in chronological order. If the wish your heart makes is to dine at Cinderella's Royal Table, for example, I recommend trying to secure that reservation first, even if you won't be dining there the first night of your vacation.

I have one last tip to share with you, Jacqueline. One of my favorite places to enjoy lunch on a Magic Kingdom Park day is Steakhouse 71. Disney's Contemporary Resort is just a 10-minute walk from the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park and the Stack Burger is the best burger on property. As a bonus, the Monorail Resorts (Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa) will be busy decking the halls during your early November visit.

    Plan magic; planDisney.
    Jennifer
