Hey Chrystal!
A warm welcome from all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
One of the things my wife and I love to do at the Disneyland Resort is eat! There are so many fabulous options that it’s always hard to choose where our next reservation will be! If you ask my kids where they want to eat they’ll say
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar (No reservation needed), but if you ask me it’s always a tough choice. If I had to pick one place inside Disneyland Park it would be
Carnation Cafe. They’ve got classic American comfort food and it never disappoints. Do me a favor, if you go there you have to get the fried pickles! If I’m picking one place at Disney California Adventure Park, it’s going to be
Lamplight Lounge. You’ll enjoy waterfront views and the theming is out of this world! I highly recommend the Lobster Nachos and the Chicken Sandwich. If your stepping outside of the parks then my recommendation is
Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel. It’s got that old Hollywood feel filled with classic Disney. I’m recommending the SH55 Dry Rub Bone-in Rib-Eye and the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese.
You can make
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. I highly recommend making reservations right away if you have your heart set on something or for those more popular restaurants. You’ll guarantee your reservation with a credit card. You won’t be charged for anything unless you don’t show up for your reservation or don’t cancel in time. If you don’t show up for your reservation you will be charged a cancellation fee per person. You can cancel most reservations 24 hours in advance so that gives you plenty of time for any changes. When you book a reservation it will tell you the restaurant’s cancellation policy.
Well Chrystal, you’ll be eating your way through the Happiest Place on Earth in no time! Don’t forget to save room for dessert!
Remember, always believe in the magic!
