How far in advance can you make dining reservations?

    Hi Patricia! Welcome to planDisney.

Get ready for a fall-festive visit at Walt Disney World Resort. The theme parks will be filled with pumpkins, shades of orange, and scarecrows. If you are interested in attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, tickets are on sale now! I highly suggest guests secure their tickets now before popular dates sell out.

The 60-day mark is your target date for advance dining reservations. If you are a guest of a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can even make dining reservations for your entire stay (up to 10 days). All other guests will need to strictly adhere to the 60-day rule. For example, with your arrival date of 10/22/23, you can book on 08/23/2023. Reservations generally open around 6:00 AM EST.

Dining reservations can be online here or through the My Disney Experience Mobile App. In the app, click on the "+" sign at the bottom center. Tap on "Check Dining Availability," enter your party size, and select your dining time. If you do not get your first choice initially, I encourage you to check for more options about 24 hours before the day of your desired reservation. Often, guests will cancel last minute. I recently scored a reservation at California Grill at fireworks time on the same day.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
