How far in advance should i cancel the restaurant reservation to not charge me?

    Hi Marcella,

For restaurants that you have given your credit card information to secure, you'll want to cancel those at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any charges to your account. If you don't cancel the reservation in advance and don't show up, I believe you'll be charged $10 per person.

It's a good policy to follow for all reservations, not just those where you'll be charged. Reservations at Walt Disney World can be difficult to come by, and cancelling an existing reservation can free up space for other guests.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
