Hello there, Gladis! Welcome to planDisney! I know a lot of Guests are using the theme park reservation system for the first time as they return to the magic, and I'm happy to be the Hei Hei to your Moana and wayfind our way through these questions together!
You are welcome to cancel your Disneyland Resort
theme park reservation at any time ahead of your visit up through 11:59 p.m. the evening before. I love that this provides Guests with a lot of flexibility, especially knowing how the current times call for us to all be flexible on the health and safety front. To cancel, all you need to do is open your Disneyland Mobile App and click on the "+" along the bottom navigation bar. This will take you to a page where you can select "View My Park Reservations". Here, you will see the option to "Cancel Reservation". Just follow the steps and you should be all set! When you are ready to make a new reservation, you can take a look at the
theme park reservation calendar to see which dates are open for your ticket type and follow the same process of clicking into "View My Park Reservations". Note that reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance but are limited, subject to availability, and differ between ticket types. If you are considering a date in the future, I always recommend making the reservation well ahead of time knowing you can cancel it if plans change. If for some reason your date is not currently available, keep checking! Guests are always changing their plans and reservations can open up!
The great news is that your Disneyland Resort theme park ticket has quite a bit of magic built-in. For
tickets purchased this year, single-day tickets are valid until December 30, 2023 while multi-day tickets extend through January 12, 2024. If for some reason you are not able to make it before those dates, you can even use the value of your current ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket, so truly the magic never runs out!
When thinking about when you might like to visit, this spring is going to see the return of some magical fan favorites! The nighttime spectaculars are back! Beginning April 22nd, World of Color will once again light up Disney California Adventure Park through water, lights, story, and music. The
Disneyland Forever fireworks will illuminate the skies above Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park, and maybe the most exciting of all, the
Main Street Electrical Parade will once again float down Main Street, U.S.A. in celebration of its 50th anniversary complete with a new finale float!
Gladis, I sure hope you can find some time to visit the Happiest Place on Earth this year! If you have any more questions in your planning, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
Tara
