It’s a small world after all, Rosemary, and I’m so glad you found your way to
planDisney! It’s great to see you back here once again!
This is a great question, and one I didn’t know the answer to, either! So, I did some research by calling Disney Special Activities for some information. I spoke to a wonderful Cast Member who informed me that
Disneyland Resort VIP Tours can be booked up to one year ahead, so you should be just fine to go ahead and book your May VIP Tour! The Cast Member did let me know that the hourly pricing that’s set for now is only guaranteed through the end of April, so there’s a chance the pricing could change for your May visit. However, you can still go ahead and book your VIP Tour to lock in your date, and as soon as the updated pricing is released, you will be contacted with the new information. The hourly rate currently fluctuates based on the day of the week and the time of year. It sounds like the updated pricing is usually set about three months in advance, so it should be set soon for early May.
I have some good news, because the Cast Member I spoke with said that early May tends to be a little slower for VIP Tours, so you may just hit a good time for the hourly rate, Rosemary! Whenever you’re ready to schedule this dream Disney experience, I recommend contacting the helpful Cast Members at Disney Special Activities at (714) 300-7710, or via email at DisneylandVIPTours@disney.com.
Disneyland Resort VIP Tours are truly the ultimate red-carpet theme-park experience – not only will your group be assigned a friendly Disney expert and “personal concierge” for the day, but they’ll also map out your special day based on your family’s needs and priorities. Plus, your guide can even make your
dining reservations and help you receive expedited access on your favorite
attractions!
My good friend recently experienced one of these special tours, and she said it was the most magical day of her life! Her favorite part of the experience was her tour guide, who became another member of the family by the end of the day. His Disney anecdotes and stories were pure magic!
I hope this information helps, Rosemary! Get ready to receive the royal treatment at the
Happiest Place on Earth in May!
Wishing you magic,
Kristin
