How far in advance can I book my vacation package to Walt Disney World?

    Hi, Maggie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for stopping by with your great question. I’m so glad to hear you’re ready to plan a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! You can actually reserve accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel up to 499 days in advance by calling (407) W-DISNEY, or (407) 934-7639. You can currently book rooms through the Walt Disney World Resort website for check-in dates up to and including Dec. 31, 2018 only, so you must call to reserve dates in 2019 rather than book online.

As of now, you’ll only be able to reserve a hotel room for dates in 2019, not a Magic Your Way Vacation Package that includes extras like park tickets or the Disney Dining Plan. You can, however, reserve your room at the 2018 rates, and when the rates and package details for 2019 are released (typically in the summertime) your room rate will be automatically adjusted to reflect the current prices. You can also make a room-only reservation to be converted into a vacation package after next year’s rates are announced.

I hope this helps you plan, Maggie. Please feel free to write back with any other questions you can dream of as you continue planning your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
