Hi there, Charlie!
I’m so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
Charlie, I know the feeling all too well. I cannot, for the life of me, rest easy until I book my vacation to
Walt Disney World Resort! My favorite thing about vacationing at The Most Magical Place on Earth is staying at a Walt Disney World
Resort hotel! You are able to make your Room-only reservation 499 days before you check-in. To do this, you’ll need to call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and a Cast Member will be happy to get that set up for you!
I like to make my Room-only reservations as early as possible because it saves a room at the Resort hotel I want. I then have the option of calling back at a later date when packages are released to modify the reservation if I want to add Theme Park
tickets or a
Disney Dining Plan. We don’t really know when
Magic Your Way Vacation Packages are released, but I’ve noticed in the past they tend to come out in the summertime for the following year; however, keep in mind it’s always subject to change.
I do hope you are excited about where you’ll be staying! Walt Disney Resort hotels are absolutely magical. If you are looking for a larger room at a Value Resort, try the suites at
Disney’s Art of Animation! My kiddos love the Cars section of the Resort hotel! Recently, my family and I stayed at Gran Destino Tower at
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and absolutely fell in love with the luxurious feel at a Moderate Resort price! If you’re wanting to splurge, I would recommend my favorite place in the entire world,
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. During your downtime, enjoy the Victorian elegance of the lobby and listen to the
Grand Floridian Society Orchestra and the
Grand Floridian Lobby Pianist play live music! Of course, being able to take the monorail from the second floor over to Magic Kingdom Park is unbeatable!
Charlie, I hope you have the most magical time planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Time flies when you’re having fun, and we'll see you very soon, pal!
