Hello, How far in advance can you book and pay monthly for a Disney vacation?

    Welcome to planDisney, Sarah!

As a group of Disney planners, we're always impressed when we come across a fellow Guest who is thinking far ahead for their next Disney vacation. This is the best way to secure the Disney Resort of your choice, make dining reservations at your desired restaurants, and even book any magical extras you set your heart on. Plus, the period of anticipation is longer! And, for me, the anticipation of an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is part of the magic.

You can start making payments on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation as soon as you book your vacation up to 30 days prior to your arrival. You can make as many payments as you want until your final payment is due. If a package is not yet available for the dates you want to visit (for example, if you are planning a trip in 2023), you are able to book a room-only reservation up to 499 days in advance over the phone. Once the 2023 packages are released (probably sometime in June), you can upgrade that room-only reservation to a package that includes Theme Park tickets. You'd just have to call Guest Relations at (407)939-1289 and a friendly Cast Member will wave their magic wand and upgrade your booking.

I hope that's helpful, Sarah. In the build-up to your trip, check out the new planDisney podcast for helpful tips and exciting information.
