How far in advance can you book dining reservations while staying at a Disney resort?

    Hello Alene,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! Dining at Walt Disney World can be so much fun. There are options for everyone, from character meals and uniquely themed dining experiences, to fine dining at some amazing restaurants.

As a Disney Resort guest, you can book reservations for your entire stay (or at least 10 days of it) beginning 60 days prior to your arrival date. That may sound early, but popular restaurants do fill up quickly.

Speaking of popular restaurants, do you have a favorite? If not, our family loves character dining at Garden Grill, and for a special treat we love California Grill and being able to catch an amazing view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. We're also looking forward to trying some newer restaurants on our next vacation: Space 220 Restaurant in EPCOT and Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary Resort.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
