Hi Vandna,
Planning for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is part of the excitement, and having groceries delivered to your resort can enhance the convenience and comfort of your stay. While some may say that having groceries delivered a day or two in advance of your stay is ok, I'd recommend opting for delivery on the day of your check-in. This ensures that your groceries are at their peak quality when you arrive, adding a delightful touch to the start of your magical adventure.
When it comes to selecting a delivery service, there are a few key considerations to keep in mind. Firstly, reliability is paramount. You want to choose a service with a proven track record of timely deliveries, especially considering the logistics involved in delivering to Disney resorts. Secondly, cost-effectiveness is important, as you want to make sure you're getting value for your money. Lastly, the variety and quality of products matter, ensuring that you can find everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Two popular options that meet these criteria are GardenGrocer and Amazon Prime Now. Garden Grocer is renowned for its reliability and wide selection of groceries, catering to various dietary needs and preferences. They offer everything from fresh produce to pantry staples, allowing you to customize your order to suit your tastes. However, I have found that they are quite pricey. On the other hand, Amazon Prime Now provides the convenience of fast delivery with reasonable prices, often within a few hours, thanks to its extensive network of distribution centers.
Now, my personal favorite service is Vacation Grocery Delivery. Not only is there a large selection of groceries but there is a personal touch. This service is run by a team of past and even present Disney Cast Members! I feel like they know the resorts inside and out and have always been incredibly helpful when I’ve used this service.
I do want to add that I find myself often over buying groceries and then we have too many leftovers that can’t come home with us. It is important to note that most
Disney Resorts Collection hotels have only mini refrigerators in the rooms.
Disney Vacation Club Resorts do tend to have more refrigerator space, especially if you are staying in a 1 Bedroom Villa or a 2 Bedroom Villa.
By having groceries delivered to your Disney resort on the day of your arrival, you can start your vacation on a stress-free note, knowing that all the comforts of home are just a doorstep away. Whether it's breakfast essentials for a leisurely morning or snacks for an afternoon pick-me-up between park adventures, these services ensure that your Disney experience is as magical and convenient as possible.
