Hi Linda,
Welcome to planDisney!
Like you, my family loves making
advanced dining reservations! Currently, they can be made 60 days prior to your visit. As you may know, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can make those dining reservations for the
length of your stay up to 10 days. If you do not have a
My Disney Experience Account, be sure to create one so that your dining reservations can be
linked to your account.
On our last trip, we had dining reservations for almost every meal. On two mornings at the resort hotel, we did
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering to the quick service restaurant at our resort hotel. We loved having those dining reservations because we rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table and, when we did mobile ordering, it was efficient at the resort hotel. I will offer one word of caution - if you are mobile ordering in the parks, be sure to start your order well in advance of the time you wish to eat. Doing so will allow you to check the pick-up times. We checked one day while at Disney's Hollywood Studios and the pick-up time was going to be two hours from the time we were placing the order.
If you are unable to secure an advanced dining reservation for a particular restaurant, try checking
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability during your visit. Between making advanced dining reservations, using Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, and trying Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability, you should be able to find food for yourself and/or your crew. As you make plans, remember that, as long as there is availability, you can use the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to make modifications while in the parks and resorts.
Linda, I hope this helps! Keep checking the
dining updates as you prepare to return to a world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
