How far in advance can I add ground transportation onto my cruise booking?

    Ahoy there, Cara!

Welcome aboard planDisney! Adding Disney's ground transportation is such a great way to take a lot of the stress out of vacation planning. There’s something extra magical about handing over the logistics to Disney and just settling into full vacation mode while they help transport you from land to sea like your own personal caravan heading toward adventure.

As you already noticed, ground transfers for 2027 sailings are not available quite yet, and unfortunately Disney doesn’t publish a specific timeline for when those transfers will open for booking. The timing can also vary depending on your departure port. For example, sailings departing from Port Canaveral or Port Everglades sometimes see ground transportation released earlier than European itineraries or some of the less common departure ports.

Now, I decided to put on my Detective Mickey hat and follow the clues. If I pieced the puzzle together correctly, it looks like you’ll be sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy out of Port Canaveral. If that’s the case, my best estimate based on previous years is that your ground transfers may become available sometime in the late-August to early-September timeframe. Of course, that’s still just an estimate and not an official Disney date, but hopefully it gives you a better idea of when to start keeping a closer eye on your reservation.

I hope this helps as you continue planning your adventure! Half the fun of a Disney cruise is watching all the little details come together before embarkation day finally arrives.

Sea ya real soon with warm air, calm seas, and a ship that always feels like home,
