Hey, Sumaira and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
One of my favorite activities in all Walt Disney World Resort is seeing the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. As the floats move from Frontierland to Liberty Square to Main Street, U.S.A. and finally circling the flag pole in Town Square, I am enchanted by their theming, nostalgia, and wonder. I get the biggest smile when I see Olaf. Here's a hint, he is next to Princess Anna.
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is 12 minutes long from the first to last parade bar and step off begins at the junction of Frontierland and Adventureland. The first float appears in front of Cinderella Castle around 3:12 PM and will reach Town Square around 3:25 PM. If you want to meet all the princess visiting
Cinderella's Royal Table you should give yourself 60 minutes and not rush through it. The window views are of Fantasyland and the parade travels on the other side of the castle. Here are two suggestions. First, if you can, change your
dining reservation to before 2:00 PM or dine for dinner. This gives you plenty of time to enjoy your regal meal. Second, visit Magic Kingdom Park on a different day to see the parade.
Disney Dad Tip: An important consideration is the crowd of people who begin lining up to have the best views of the parade 30-45 minutes before it starts. We do not do that because there are plenty of great views throughout the parade route. We have found last-minute spots along the Rivers of America side of Frontierland, on the elevated wooden walkway near the Country Bear Jamboree and just in front of Harmony Barbershop.
Sumaira, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
